OK since Torque published what was part of my solve weeks ago (he of course didn't know as I was trying to keep it a secret). I believe he Torque is correct. Not having the ability to watch Netflix (still haven't seen that) or owning the book back then I poured over the map and poem. Then it jumped out at me, the only city listed 'beyond the map's edge'. I knew then the start point was in Arizona. My first solve has it in Southern Arizona.

I can't find a way to upload images here so I will link to my photos from boots on the ground. As far as I know I am the first to publish the solve pictures starting in Lukeville. It of course is not hidden in Lukeville. I only show my start to my solve. In a second post about BOTG I will share some pictures I took from the search area as well, but am keeping that secret for now.

I think I was less than a mile from the treasure at one point if my solve is correct. I ran out of energy to continue though. I will be back very soon. Till then enjoy my blog photos and descriptions. I had never been to Lukeville or the National Monument area before.
