Ya... I guess I can't get myself pumped up for this new treasure hunt. I wonder if what made the Forrest Fenn treasure hunt compelling, was, ... well, Forrest Fenn. I think I enjoyed his personality and stories, more than the treasure itself.
I have a piece of the treasure. It just sits around collecting dust. Once I got it, I was like, yaaa. So what?
It's not the metal that is exciting. It's the thrill of the Chase. The person who breathed excitement into the Chase was Forrest Fenn. He admitted that he was the biggest schmoozer the world had ever known.

Same. I wouldn't call myself a treasure hunter - I literally have little to no interest in the other hunts going on (though I will, at some point, look at them to see if they're relevant in the scheme of things)....the chase was it, and that was because of Fenn.
