Beyond the map's Edge - the poem
Can you find what lives in time,
flowing through each measured rhyme?
Wisdom waits in shadowed sight -
for those who read these words just right.
As hope surges, clear and bright,
walk near waters' silent flight.
Round the bend, past the Hole,
I wait for you to cast your pole.
In Ersa east his realm awaits;
his bride stands guard at ancient gates.
Her foot and three and 20 degree,
return her face to find the place.
Double arcs on granite bold,
where secrets of the past still hold.
Beyond the reach of time’s swift race,
wonder guards this sacred space.
Truth rests not in clever minds,
not in tangled, twisted finds.
Like a river's steady flow -
what you seek, you already know.
Cowling, you made mucho errors. I quit reading after the 3rd one I saw. You might want to fix this so that you don’t put yourself at JCB’s level. Lol. Keep up the good work otherwise

Foot equals 1 three mean 3, 20° equals exactly what it looks like? just spitballing here..

The author needs to tell us all if there is no title and if there is/isn't subterfuge. Of course, I'd need to believe the answers provided were pure and true.

If the "title" is truly an intended clue, then the title isn’t so easily explained. What, exactly, would that "title" consist of? There’s the title to the book, the title of authorship, several associations with the word “title” throughout the contents of the TTOTC, and countless included pictures in the TOTC which could also serve as the title. If, as suggested, the answer is associated with both the “Title” AND “Time”, then without a doubt subterfuge has always been at play in F's game. It's similar to when Forrest witnessed a robin ducking a BB. Obviously, if the robin heard the shot being fired, then it would probably fly off, rather than simply duck. It's a natural reaction. I truly believe it's time to face the music and admit the obvious. Subterfuge has, is, and always will be a significant part of the Chase. It's almost like steering a mantis toward its prey and telling it to use a can opener to dissect its food. Why would you do that when it has its own set of ripping jaws to do the job? Lol, this forum makes me laugh!

I believe Cow intends this thread to be about JP's new treasure hunt. With my post here, I am asking JP to tell me if there is no title [perhaps Beyond the Map's Edge is the title?] to his new hunt and if his poem contains no subterfuge. I'm not posting here to say f's Chase didn't have subterfuge but f did say his 'poem' contained no subterfuge.
If you want to start a new thread to discuss the Chase subterfuge ... I'll probably join in. And, enjoy the laugh.

@mountain-digger Sorry about the interruption. Old habits are hard to break. 😎
Silent water that flows? A spring flows and is silent.
In the first stanza I think he is talking about Imagination.
Cast your pole, The pole is the pole star (north star) ursa and bride, big and little dipper.
Her foot of three at 20 degree, return her face. I think he saying to draw a line from the end of the dipper to the front of the dipper, and that's the angle that you need, and maybe add 20 degrees to that. The problem with this whole thing is I don't have any idea where the starting place is
Starting place, In the documentary Justin said he set everything up so he could slip in hints. The airline pilot when to Los Pinos. The land owners father wrote a book with Forrest about Clovis points. The Clovis point hot spot in Wyoming is Sunrise Wyoming. That could well be the starting point.
The line through the little dipper. North is 0 degrees so the line through the little dipper from the star at the end of the dipper to the star at the front of the dipper, that is the angle from 0 degrees. I hope that makes sense.
Well I drew a line through the little dipper, the inclination from zero looked like six degrees + 20= 26 degrees. Just a wild guess. I think the 3 is referring to the 3 stars that make up the handle of the little dipper.
