@skulbone From the poem, His bride stands guard at ancient gates. The two original bridges were toll bridges, they might have had a gate to raise, once the toll was payed. There are a number of bridges, between Dillon and Twin bridges. Dillon also has some bridges that were built in the 1800's. But I don't know if they were toll bridges.
OK, I moved Wisdom to the east to arrive at Twin Bridges/ancient Gates? Now what? In the book he talks a lot about Victorio Peak. Specifically, the tunnels and or caves which are hollow spots. If we move east again, we come to Hollow Top Mountain. I wouldn't bet the farm on any of this, there just my thoughts.
Walk near water's silent flight. A dry gully or some where water only flows when it rains?
I wait for you to cast your pole. This is more than stretch of the imagination, but cast your pole could be referring to throwing a spear?
@rfish Well, My first thought was a spring. I didn't think of a hot spring, and passed on the spring idea. But you made me curious, so I checked and there is geothermal activity in the general area.
Justin studied creative writing, he's a wordsmith. The poem needs to lead to the treasure. Not a state.
Her foot of three. Rivers are some times referred to as he or she. foot of three, three forks?
Wonder guards this sacred space. Why did he use the word space, instead of place. place would seem to be a better fit. Place can refer to the sole of the foot.
- I’ve been twice in the last month to my solve. I’m now releasing it to the public. I didn’t do a grid search, so good luck
Around the bend from Amboy California is the National Trails Highway. About 4 miles past the hole (volcano), there are two Foo Dogs on the south side of the highway about 1/2 mile apart facing due north. Foo dogs guard a sacred place, sometimes treasure. There is always a male (west foo dog) and a female (east foo dog). The male has a sphere below his foot and the female has a baby foo dog below her right foot (3 feet total on her right).
These foo dogs are mounted on solid granite and it is a mystery how they got there. A few years back one disappeared for a few years, then suddenly reappeared. This is why Justin showed one mug in the Netflix documentary, but two mugs at the end.
The female dog got her right side of her mouth shot off a few years ago. Return her face means if you can find the part that got shot off, that is where the treasure is, and you can return her face. I tried walking at a 20 degree angle from her and ran into a dry creek bed that had a tangled mess of an old car wreck, but I didn’t find the treasure there.
So, that’s my solve. I’m not going back down there, but if someone wants to do a good grid search down there, best of luck.
Forrest's poem had six stanzas, Justin's five, I think we will be repeating one of them.
